My first bento box
So inspired by mmmbento, I went to buy a bento box. Got it for a pound at Pound Land UK. 2-tier, with partition, securer and a fork. Not the cutest bento but certainly value for money and functional.

Holy cow! What a great bento for only US$2! Sadly, we have no PoundLand here. Looking forward to seeing your bento!

yup, the poundland also have another bear bear bento box with spoon and fork. It has a transparent lid but too cute for me. I saw daiso having a shop in US. they do have v cheap and cute bento box. There was one bear shape bento box and a rabbit shape bento box. Selling at about US$3 or less.

cool. I only manage to see this and another yellow one-tier bento with teddy bear print on a tranparent cover. It is too kiddish for me. Looks like time to go to poundland again!!

I cant believe that I hadnt stumbled across this site earlier!!! I have been searching online for Bento boxes in the UK and Poundland have them. I have just completed a bid for a Bento box on eBay costed me £5 (could of had 5 Bento boxes)

I am off to Poundland for a search!
If you dont mind me asking where abouts in the UK do you live?

I stay in Leeds and Poundland had just opened its outlet here. I guess I am just lucky. I love the Poundland bento box. It is very functional, but the only drawback is...I do not think it is microwavable...
